This furniture concept combines several different funriture functions into two design elements: a reception desk / workstation and keynote podium; and a seating unit, book shelf and literature display with an integrated projector. Both units are on wheels and can be configured in the gallery spaces in different ways. They can be combined into one large until, used in relation to each other in the event of receptions, or used individually in the staging of exhibitions. They’re simple monolithic forms were concieved of to help create a dynamism with the box-like architecture and to break-up it’s linearity. This stratgey helps curators when laying out an exhibtion because the strong lines of the forms help define pathways around the space.
